Phlebotomist

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred Previous experience as a phlebotomist At least one year of experience preferred Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Benefits Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: PSTs may be eligible for a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, rotating Saturdays, 8:00 am-12:00 pm Work location: 7219 Culebra Rd., San Antonio, TX 78251 Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan Employees scheduled less than 20 hours per week eligible for the 401(k) plan only Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
