Competitive hourly pay Stable full-time schedule (4-On/2-Off) Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture Opportunities for training and career advancement A rewarding career serving seniors and helping improve residents' quality of life Position Responsibilities As a valued member of our Environmental Services team, you will: Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and furnishings Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain organized storage areas Follow all infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, and safety concerns promptly Assist with linen distribution and laundry duties as needed Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members Complete special cleaning projects and additional housekeeping duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, hospital, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and infection control practices is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform physical duties including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering quality work Benefits Competitive pay at $18.54 per hour Full-time employment with a consistent 4-On/2-Off schedule Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance for eligible employees Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Supportive leadership and a positive team environment The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents every day At Diablo Valley Post Acute, every employee plays an important role in creating a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for our residents.
