Locations: Brea & Irvine, CA Schedule: PRN / As-Needed | Day & Evening Shifts Available Pay: $27.00–$30.00 per hour, based on licensure and experience Flexible PRN Coverage | Occupational Health | Employer-Based Clinics Medcor is seeking an EMT or Paramedic to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis as an Onsite Health Technician supporting our employer-based occupational health clinics in Brea and Irvine, California . This is a great opportunity for an EMT or Paramedic looking to pick up occasional additional shifts, supplement their current schedule, or gain experience outside of traditional EMS/911 . Our onsite clinics provide a combination of basic primary and urgent care services and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses . You'll continue using your clinical and emergency-response skills while gaining valuable experience in occupational health, workers' compensation, case management, and return-to-work programs. Compensation & Schedule Pay: $27.00–$30.00/hour , based on licensure and experience. Available PRN shifts may include: Brea

6:00 AM–3:00 PM

3:00 PM–12:0 AM

Irvine

5:00 AM–1:30 PM

1:30 PM–10:00 PM

This is a PRN/as-needed position and hours are not guaranteed. Shifts are available based on clinic coverage needs. You'll work collaboratively with Medcor's medical and operational leadership, client staff, local medical providers, and outside healthcare partners to provide high-quality care to employees. Your responsibilities may include: Assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor's evidence-based clinical protocols Providing basic primary and urgent care services within the scope of the position Providing first aid and emergency response when needed Supporting workers' compensation case management Facilitating Return-to-Work (RTW) programsMonitoring treatment plans and coordinating with outside medical providers Conducting pre-employment and post-offer screenings Performing Physical Assessment Testing (PATs) Supporting onsite employee health and wellness initiatives Documenting patient care using Medcor's electronic medical record (EMR) Maintaining accurate and timely medical charts Supporting OSHA recordkeeping Providing exceptional service to employees and client leadership Building strong relationships with employees, client contacts, providers, and the Medcor team What We're Looking For Required Qualifications: Current EMT or Paramedic certification/licensure required for the position Current CPR/BLS certification Strong patient assessment and clinical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer and technology skills, including comfort working with electronic medical records Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical and operational teams Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care It's a Plus If You Have Previous occupational health or worksite clinic experience Emergency medicine or EMS experience Workers' compensation or case management experience Experience working independently in a clinical environment Occupational health experience is a plus, but it is not required.
