As a Security Officer Full Time Access Administration in Kansas City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and manage access control systems, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report access irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site contacts and following Allied Universal and client-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
