Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. The position supports core lab testing across chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation platforms. Candidates will perform quality control, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and result verification to ensure reliable patient data.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or bachelor's degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• MLT or MLS certification required. Eligible by a nationally recognized certification agency is acceptable. ASCP certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience required. Core lab experience required.
• Experience with Roche chemistry platforms, Sysmex XN hematology, Siemens UN3000 urinalysis, and Stago Compact Max coagulation systems preferred.
• Experience working with Lab Information Systems (LIS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
• In licensure states, appropriate state laboratory licensure as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sunquest laboratory information system experience strongly preferred.
• Two years of technical experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred if not already met by required experience.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Evenings.
• Orientation calendar: B (can start any week).
• Must be able to perform duties across core laboratory sections including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation.
• Managerial clinical review of profile may delay an offer.
