Receiving Room Manager

Manage the processes and functions in the Receiving Room.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Mailing Duties - Provide timely mail services, including pick-up and delivery, sorting, preparing outgoing mail, receiving and delivering of incoming packages. Ensure postage meter is stocked enough to handle the daily mail outs along with the special mass mail outs. Ensure mailing regulation compliance and upkeep of equipment.
• Purchasing/Inventory - Maintain inventory levels for office supplies by working with vendors and perform month end duties. Create and reconcile Purchase Orders in a timely manner, and distribute requested products. Track the use of purchases per department for budgeting.
• Manages Imaging. Provide department support by accurately scanning and indexing documents in a timely manner. Monitor shred machine and bins located in receiving room with outside vendor.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training.
• Ensure company confidentiality.

Education And Experience

Prefer Highschool or GED PLUS additional education in a specialized field (vocational trade school, two year college, etc.) plus 6 12 months related experience and/or training and no previous management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
