Location: Westwood, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/04/2026
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours/week
Pay Rate:  $24 – $25/hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated  Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join an acute care hospital setting. This role involves supporting nursing staff and providing direct patient care to  med-surg and geriatric patients  in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report abnormalities
• Perform patient care tasks such as repositioning, hygiene, and specimen collection
• Assist with EKGs, phlebotomy, and glucose monitoring
• Maintain patient safety and follow infection control protocols
• Support nursing staff with patient care and unit workflow

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PCT or relevant healthcare experience  (2 years preferred)
• BLS Certification (required)
• PCT Certification (required)
• Experience in  acute care / hospital setting preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Additional Requirements:

• No local candidates within 50 miles
• Must have  excellent attendance record
• Floating may be required within scope
• Every other weekend required

Patient Population:

• Med-Surg and Geriatric patients
• Surgical cases including women’s health, general, and orthopedic patients
