Surgical TechnicianYour future role at a glanceLocation: Austin, TXFacility: Dell Seton Medical Center-UTSpecialty: Main ORSchedule: Day-shift | Full-timeHow you'll make an impact in this rolePrepare the surgical suite with sterile drapes, solutions, and the appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies to ensure a safe environment.Anticipate the surgeon's needs by efficiently handing over required instruments, medication, and supplies during the procedure.Safely assist in preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients to ensure comfort, dignity, and proper surgical access.Maintain instruments in a meticulous, organized manner while strictly monitoring and tracking component counts throughout the procedure to prevent retained objects.Maintain a vigilant focus on aseptic technique and situational awareness to maximize overall patient safety and operating room efficiency.What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
