Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform both mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operations within our facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service tasks.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Perform plumbing maintenance and electrical functions as required.
• Use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in duties.
• Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report unusual situations to supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of experience in preventative maintenance.
• 3+ years of experience in blueprint reading, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years of maintenance experience in a high-speed production environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Kenosha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr. Medical Dental Vision 401k
