Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients. You will provide high-quality care through the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and collaboration with the healthcare team, strictly adhering to the policies and procedures of the medical center.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a high-acuity surgical environment.
• Utilize advanced instrumentation and clinical expertise to ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex trauma and surgical cases.
• Maintain accountability for patient outcomes during assigned time frames.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure: Current Florida RN license or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to state requirements).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Trauma Operating Room experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Certifications:
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Residency Requirement: Candidate must reside within the Miami region to meet mandatory on-call requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $39.57 – $53.34 per hour (based on 17+ years of experience).
