Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Department: Physical Plant

Supervisor: Physical Plant, Supervisor

Job Objective:

This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 1-2 years of related experience

Licensure: CT State Motor Vehicle Driver's License

Essential Job Functions:

Make daily rounds in an efficient and orderly manner while observing plant mechanicals and building structure.
Carefully clean all commercial capacity dryers in the laundry areas on a daily basis.
Perform jobs as required by work orders in a safe and timely manner including security coverage for building entrances.
Perform snow removal.
Assist in all emergency matters ranging from fire safety procedure to on call service for extreme weather conditions.
Other related duties as assigned.
