What You’ll Do: As an Intern , you will contribute to a variety of projects across multiple disciplines and support project teams with tasks such as: Performing design calculations and technical analyses Drafting and designing/modeling using AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Revit (or other discipline specific software) Preparing plans, reports, and project documentation Supporting construction inspections, testing, and field work Participate in client meetings and project discussions Learn about local, state and federal project requirements Project Types: Depending on your discipline, you may work on projects like: Water, Sewer and Stormwater Infrastructure Roads & Highways Subdivision and Commercial Site Development Federal Government facilities (e.g., U.S. Air Force projects) Building and Structure Design Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems Surveying Mapping, and Environmental Compliance What We’re Looking For: We are looking for motivated future engineers who are passionate about design and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have: Currently enrolled in an accredited civil engineering or related program Strong academic foundation and enthusiasm for learning Excellent communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks Prior coursework or experience in your discipline is a plus Location & Availability Paid internship opportunities are available in ALL TD&H offices: Great Falls, MT | Kalispell, MT | Helena, MT | Bozeman, MT | Lewiston, ID | Twin Falls, ID | Spokane, WA | Watford City, ND | Media, PA Paid Internships: $20 – $25/hour, depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
