This 146-bed short-term acute care hospital holds a Level IV trauma designation, maintaining the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support gastroenterology outpatient and clinic coverage. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care, with medical assistant support available to assist with clinical operations. Locum tenens gastroenterology coverage is sought from November through January 2027.

Arizona offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural experiences throughout the state. Opportunities include hiking, wildlife viewing, and visits to national parks such as Saguaro National Park and Kartchner Caverns. The state is also home to notable museums, botanical gardens, wildlife parks, and historical landmarks, with scenic destinations such as Sabino Canyon and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum available for natural and educational exploration.

The gastroenterologist will provide outpatient and clinic-based gastroenterology coverage on a 24-hour call basis at this on-site facility in Arizona. Clinical responsibilities include managing scheduled outpatient procedures from the clinic while on call, in accordance with established facility protocols. Call coverage is a required component of this locum tenens assignment. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
