Senior Electrical Engineer

If you like to build things, you'll love working for us. Overview We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer supporting an engineering services contract in King George, VA. Candidates who are mission-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced team environment are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Evaluate requirements and and analyze best methods of implementation for cost, timeline and functionality. Present findings in design reviews. Design electrical components and assemblies, including tactical components, test assets, and system interfaces. Document electrical designs. Create drawings including wire run lists, and BOMs to existing government specifications and requirements. Support troubleshooting and testing activities ranging from component-level to integrated system level. Work closely with a team of engineers, analysts and technicians to design, develop, build, refine, and deliver engineering prototypes and production units. Apply Military Standards in design, as well as cable fabrication and testing techniques. Maintain design documentation through project Configuration Management processes. Required Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience. Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical Box Build and Wire Harness design using ECAD tools, primarily AutoCAD. Experience in use of electronic test equipment in testing and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies and wire harnesses. US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance. BS or Masters in EE with a minimum of Five (10) years of professional experience, including specialized in DOD or related programs. Expertise of schematic development tools. Demonstrated proficiency with multiple ECAD software tools. Familiarity with MCAD programs such as SolidWorks. Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
