Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Swing (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' clinical conditions across all age groups, prioritize care needs, and take immediate appropriate action in emergency situations ranging from minor injuries to trauma.
• Initiate emergency measures when a physician is not immediately available and operate specialized equipment including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
• Administer physician-prescribed therapeutic measures including medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Document patient observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and coordinate activities between nursing and other professional disciplines.
• Plan, develop, and implement individualized patient care plans, assigning team members based on staff skills and patient care requirements.
• Assist in maintaining adequate unit supplies, equipment upkeep, and a safe patient care environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years of emergency room nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment credentialing clearances including background check and drug screen.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with patients across all age groups in a high-volume emergency department setting.
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and advanced emergency care protocols.
