Lead Network Engineer (Quant Trading Firm)

I’m partnering with a growing quantitative investment firm hiring a Network Engineer in New York, Chicago or London .
The firm is expanding its global trading capabilities and investing in machine learning, GPU research and high-speed infrastructure. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the networks behind that growth, with direct exposure to researchers, engineers and live trading.
The role:
- Build low-latency trading networks, market data distribution and exchange connectivity
- Scale networks supporting GPU compute and high-performance storage
- Support international expansion and drive network automation
Your background:
- 6+ years of networking experience, including finance, fintech or HFT
- Strong TCP/IP, multicast, BGP and VXLAN/EVPN knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Arista, firewalls and packet capture
- Familiarity with Linux and infrastructure automation
