Job Summary:
The Medford, Oregon-based position is for a Surgical Technician specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves supporting the surgical team in various procedures and assisting with OR tasks within a high-volume facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts with variable days off; shifts will be either 08:30 AM to 07:00 PM or 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM. The minimum hours per week are 40.
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; licensure to submit; minimum of 2 years of experience at a multi-operating room facility (a plus).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system, experience in a high-volume surgical setting, and familiarity with various surgical equipment and procedures.
• Additional Information: This role involves working in an acute care setting with a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 2.5:1. Orientation includes a week of training with current staff, and call is required, averaging 50 hours per month with a 15-minute response time to backup staff. Floating to other units or departments may be required.
