The Elevator Salesman will develop and manage elevator sales opportunities across a local, multi-county territory, serving building owners, property managers, general contractors, and architectural firms. Reporting to the Business Owner, this role will focus on modernization projects, maintenance agreements, and service contracts, with weekly site visits and travel based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients and elevator sales opportunities.
• Conduct site assessments for modernization, maintenance, and service needs.
• Prepare accurate customer quotes and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and support agreement execution.
• Follow up with customers throughout the sales process.
• Manage customer accounts and ongoing relationships.
• Meet with customers during weekly site visits and occasional project-related travel.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in elevator equipment sales.
• Associate degree in business, sales, or a related field.
• Consultative selling experience.
• Knowledge of elevator systems and building systems.
• Contract negotiation experience.
• Customer relationship management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Effective time management.
