Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,255-$2,401 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12 Start date: 06/15/2026 Setting: hospital ICU environment On-call: Possible weekend shifts Holiday pay rate applies for designated holidays Responsibilities Provide ICU-level care to cardiovascular patients, including post-open heart surgery patients (approximately 18–24 hours post-op) and those with congestive heart failure or electrophysiology needs Monitor telemetry and hemodynamics, interpret EKGs, detect deterioration, and respond with timely interventions Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including vasopressors and inotropes per protocol Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and update patient care plans; document assessments and outcomes; educate patients and families Assist with procedures and post-procedural care (e.g., PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip) and support device management as needed; ventilator management when required Adhere to safety, infection control, and unit-specific policies; participate in continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice Requirements Active Michigan RN license; license verification via LARA and Nursys required 1+ year ICU experience (floating not considered an ICU requirement; must be willing to float to similar units as needed) EKG experience required Willingness to float to similar units (e.g., Neuro, CVICU, Trauma) ACLS and BLS certifications Skills checklist completed within the last year for RN specialties Ability to work in a hospital ICU setting and meet unit-specific credentialing and documentation needs Benefits and Support 36 guaranteed hours per week 8-week contract with travel-related support Night shift schedule (3x12) Holiday pay rate applies for designated holidaysOn-call availability on a possible weekend schedule Required licensure verification and credentialing support as part of the assignment process Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
