Enjoy a hybrid work environment and comprehensive benefits.Job DescriptionElectrical Engineer OverviewThe Electrical Engineer will design electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers on challenging projects up to $500 million in scope.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members in a collaborative environment.Develop and execute designs for lighting systems, power distribution, and control systems for mechanical and refrigeration systems.Work within a values-driven organization that prioritizes professional development and balanced life.Contribute to projects for leading industry brands, leveraging extensive engineering competencies and problem-solving skills.Engage in a hybrid work environment offering flexibility and a comprehensive benefits package.Report to the SVP/Director of Engineering and lead multi-disciplinary design teams effectively.Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities & DutiesLead engineering and design teams to prepare detailed drawings and specifications for electrical systems.Design and implement lighting and lighting control systems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.Develop low and medium voltage power distribution systems tailored to project requirements.Specify materials and methods for electrical system construction, adhering to industry standards.Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with architectural and mechanical designs.Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards in all designs and implementations.Provide consultation and problem-solving expertise to address complex engineering challenges.Mentor and support junior engineers to foster professional growth and team development.Electrical Engineer Job RequirementsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field; PE certification required.Minimum of 10 years of experience designing electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities.Proven ability to independently create construction documents and specifications.Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.Experience within the A/E consulting industry is preferred.Proficiency in designing lighting systems, power distribution, and control systems.Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for electrical systems.Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional on-site collaboration.
