Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

This role provides physical therapy interventions under supervision, assisting in patient care and monitoring progress according to the PT plan of care . Responsibilities include following established treatment protocols, documenting care, assisting with therapeutic activities, managing caseloads, travelling to patient homes or facilities, using medical equipment appropriately. Qualifications include New York State Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant, an Associate’s Degree from an approved program, a minimum of two years’ clinical experience, basic PC skills. Bilingual skills may be preferred or required based on operational needs. Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability to diverse environments, and the ability to assist with patient activities and equipment.
