We’re seeking a Welder IV to work at a leading designer and manufacturer of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) in Shingle Springs, CA . Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay: $30/hr
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm
This position is ONSITE in Shingle Springs, CA must be able to commute to Shingle Springs, CA

What’s a typical day as Welder IV? You’ll be:
- Performing GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW wire welding for both pressure part and structural part products under the general direction of the Fabrication Supervisor.
- Welding a variety of materials including Carbon Steels, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Titanium, while ensuring precision finishes for cosmetic welds.
- Self-inspecting work performed to meet quality requirements and specifications, and determining the sequence of welding to control shrinkage, distortion, and warping of weldments.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 7-10+ years of experience in the welding trades with the ability to pass a 3G qualification test for structural plate using multiple processes and materials.
- Possess strong analytical skills to interpret blueprints, specifications, and procedures for planning layout, assembly, and welding operations.
- Are proficient in using precision measuring devices and have intermediate to advanced math skills including fractions and decimals.
