  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through interviews and standardized evaluations.

  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to guide clients through their therapeutic journey and equip them with coping strategies.

  • Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care and make appropriate referrals when necessary.

  • Engage clients in therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and crisis intervention strategies, to help them navigate challenges effectively.

  • Maintain professional boundaries while fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients, ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a broad range of patients, including adolescents and adults experiencing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and those facing substance abuse issues. Our clientele is diverse, and a culturally sensitive approach is vital in addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual. The effective therapist must be adaptable and equipped to tailor interventions based on the complexities of each client's situation.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LPC, LCSW or equivalent in the state of New Jersey.

  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
