We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dentist to join our team in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental exams and cleanings.
• Diagnose and treat dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay.
• Create treatment plans for patients and discuss options with them.
• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• General education/counseling to patients and family members
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid state dental license (or have applied for) a current Michigan Dental License and Controlled Substance License

Position Criteria:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Candidates with knowledge of Dentrix also helpful.
• Float as needed between Dental sites for patient care.

Job Type: Full-time 40 hours/week

Required experience:

• Dentist experienced: 2-5 years prior dental practice experience is a plus
• Recent Dental School Grad: 1 year may be considered

Required license or certification:

• Michigan Dental License
• Valid BLS/CPR
• Valid State of Michigan Driver's License
