This contract position spans from August 6th through May 14th, providing a stable and rewarding full-time schedule of 30 hours per week at a single school site near Piedmont, AL. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current CCC-SLP certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Hold or be eligible for licensure as an SLP in Alabama
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to effectively collaborate with families, educators, and other specialists
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Compassionate, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to student care

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services to students across PreK-6th grades
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
• Maintain clear and timely progress reports and records
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student success
• Engage in school-wide initiatives supporting students’ diverse communication needs
