Bus Driver

Anticipated Start Date: July 27th, 2026Position PurposeThe Bus Driver works under the supervisor of the Director of Transportation and is responsible for safely transporting students from home-to-school and school-to-home and transporting students and staff on extracurricular field trips as requested.Job DutiesUpholds CECs beliefs found on the CEC website.Transports students to and from the school and related activities safely and efficiently. Supervises loading and unloading of buses. Oversees simulated or actual emergency evacuations of school bus as required.Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required. Maintains accurate and up-to-date transportation paperwork.Maintains bus cleanliness and orderly appearance including washing vehicles on a regular basis and removing trash.Identifies and reports mechanical malfunctions to the Director of Transportation.
