Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: October 14, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (06:00 - 18:00). Flexible 36 or 48-hour weekly options available. Every third weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period required. Float to Postpartum as needed.

Highlights:

• High-risk labor and delivery unit with OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery
• Care for laboring patients with high-risk conditions including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and gestations 34 weeks and greater
• Comprehensive obstetric experience including C-Sections, External Cephalic Versions, and vaginal deliveries
• First-time travelers accepted with 36-hour orientation provided
• Care for diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
• 13-week assignment with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
