School Occupational Therapist (K-6)Occupational Therapist | K–6 | Full-TimeLocation: Indianapolis, IN Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite Grade Levels: K–6th Grade School Year: ASAP – June 3, 2027 Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Salary: $57,500-$70,000 (based on experience) | Paid WeeklyAbout the Role:AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in a K–6 school-based setting in Indianapolis for the 2026–2027 school year.This is a full-time opportunity for an OT who enjoys working in an elementary school environment and collaborating with educators and other related service providers to help students access and participate successfully in their educational programs.The school serves a general K–6 student population without specialized life skills or special program classrooms, providing an opportunity to work with a broad range of students and functional needs.Caseload DetailsSupport students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.Approximately 70 students on the caseload.No specialized life skills or special program classrooms.Provide school-based occupational therapy services based on individual student needs and IEP requirements.Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers.ResponsibilitiesConduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional needs.Develop and implement individualized OT goals and treatment plans.Provide direct occupational therapy services aligned with students' IEPs.Address areas such as fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, handwriting, sensory processing, coordination, and functional classroom participation.Consult with teachers and school staff to develop strategies that support student independence and access to the classroom.Adapt materials, equipment, and classroom environments as needed.Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on student needs and data.Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings.Maintain accurate treatment notes, progress reports, evaluations, and other required documentation.Collaborate with families and educational team members to promote carryover of skills across settings.QualificationsMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Valid Indiana Occupational Therapy License or eligibility to obtain.School-based experience preferred but not required.Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills.Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students.Comfortable collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers.Passion for helping students develop the functional skills they need to participate successfully in school.New graduate OTs are encouraged to apply!BenefitsTeam members working 30+ hours per week are eligible for full-time benefits, including:Medical PPO with $0 employee payroll deductionDental & Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care, and Transit)401(k) with 100% employer match up to 3% starting Day 1100% employer-paid Short-Term Disability100% employer-paid Basic Life InsurancePaid Parental LeaveEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Optional supplemental Life, Accident, and Critical Illness coveragePaid weeklyAnnual materials stipendLicensure reimbursementFree school-based CEUs and professional development opportunitiesPersonalized 1:1 clinical support from an experienced Clinical DirectorBi-weekly therapy team meetings for collaboration, networking, and supportAccess to therapy resources and materials throughout the school yearEqual Employment OpportunityAnthroMed Education is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
