Together, Axia Women’s Health puts women first by delivering the personalized care needed for women to lead healthier, happier lives.We have an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Triage and Support at our McConnell & Associates OB/GYN practice in Wynnewood, PA with satellite locations in Paoli, King of Prussia, and Edgmont, PA. Rotation amongst locations included.Hours: 9a-5p; possible one evening commitment/week until 7pThe RN is responsible for the coordination of patient care and is an important participant in policy and procedure implementations as they relate to medical services for nursing staff, both in person and via telephone.Essential Functions:Follows established triage protocols and guidelines to evaluate and assess patient healthcare needs based on signs and symptoms.Accurately documents signs/vitals, symptoms, and complaints, nursing assessment, provided advice, and patient response into the EMR.Pulls labs/imaging results and adds to the EMR and consults with physicians on all results of testing.Obtains appropriate input and direction from Axia provider, as needed, to determine the best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient care.Educates patients and families about prescribed follow ups, medications, therapies, and teaches self-injection techniques as needed.Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as to improve healthcare outcomes of patients.Assist, as needed, with phone triage.Assists with medication refill requests.Performs phlebotomy.Performs other associated tasks as assigned.Qualifications:Completion of an accredited nursing program required.Active Pennsylvania RN license required.Minimum of 1 year experience working as an RN in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting, required.Phlebotomy experience and comfortability required.CPR Certification.Must be able to work a flexible schedule of 40 hours/week at all care center locations (M-F 8:30 am – 5 pm with alternating Wednesday evening shifts – 6:30/7pm).Previous experience with eClinicalWorks (EMR) beneficial.Knowledge of lab order sets beneficial.Knowledge of CPT coding beneficial.Full-Time Benefits Summary:Full-time benefit eligibility beginning the first of the month after hire.Choice of multiple medical insurance plans to best meet your needs401(k) matching!Generous PTO offering with additional time off for volunteering!Access to Axia providers at little to no cost through Axia's medical insurance.Axia-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability!Free counseling for colleagues and family members, including parents and parents-in-law.Additional insurance options including dental, vision, supplemental life insurance, FSA, HSA, identity theft, long term care, pet insurance and more!At Axia Women’s Health, we’re passionate about creating a community where our colleagues and patients feel empowered to be their full, authentic selves.
