Part-Time Medical Assistant

Position Overview

Entech Medical Staffing is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Assistant to join a medical practice. The ideal candidate will have experience performing blood draws and a strong interest in learning and assisting with clinical procedures performed in the office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and expanding their clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture accurately and safely.
• Prepare patients for examinations and in-office clinical procedures.
• Assist physicians and clinical staff with procedures performed in the office.
• Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
• Room patients, update medical histories, and document medications and allergies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked examination rooms.
• Collect, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or state certification
• BLS certification
• Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
• Demonstrated experience and confidence performing blood draws and venipuncture.
• Willingness and ability to learn new clinical procedures performed in the office.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical staff.

• Part-time hours.
• Tues, Wed, Thurs or Wed, Thurs, Fri
