We're looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to partner with Producers, support a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, and help drive long-term client success. Responsibilities What You’ll Do / Your Impact Manage day-to-day service for an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance clients Partner with Producers to coordinate new business, renewals, and marketing strategies Prepare proposals, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, and support renewal presentations Review policies and endorsements to ensure accurate coverage and compliance Respond to client requests, process policy changes, and provide claims support Maintain accurate documentation and client records within the agency management system Build strong relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal teams while identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience Qualifications What You Bring Required Active Property & Casualty Insurance License 2+ years of Commercial Lines account management experience Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and underwriting Experience with Microsoft Office and agency management systems (AMS360, EPIC, or similar) Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills Preferred Experience negotiating with insurance carriers Professional designations such as CIC or CISR Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Additional Information Benefits Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k), generous PTO, and more.
