UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals Division of Oncology, Department of Pediatrics Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, and In Residence Faculty SeriesThe Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals is recruiting faculty at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the Adjunct, Clinical X, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, or In Residence series. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and established fellowship training program. This position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.Minimum QualificationsMD, DO, or equivalent medical degree, with eligibility for medical licensure in CaliforniaBoard eligibility or certification in PediatricsBoard eligibility or certification in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology (timely certification expected for recent fellowship graduates)Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated interest in academic pediatrics, including clinical care, research, and teachingExperience supervising and mentoring medical students, residents, or fellowsEvidence of scholarly activity such as publications, research, quality improvement, or national presentationsClinical expertise in pediatric hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplantation, with ability to manage complex patients in a multidisciplinary settingFor positions that are 51% effort or more: The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $114,100-$344,400. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. For positions that are 50% effort or less: See Table 2 for the salary range for this position.
