  • Conduct thorough initial assessments that delve deeply into the client’s concerns to establish a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

  • Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

  • Document client progress, treatment plans, and subsequent changes using our electronic health record system, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

  • Engage in regular clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional growth and contribute to team discussions on clinical best practices.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with emerging trends and research in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and families facing various challenges such as relationship difficulties, trauma, and everyday life stressors. Your ability to connect with clients from varied backgrounds and provide culturally competent care will be crucial in facilitating positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapy in a clinical setting.

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering effective marriage and family therapy services to a diverse range of clients.

  • Strong knowledge of the DSM-5 for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
