Brake Press Operator/Programmer

Overview Local aircraft company in North Tulsa is seeking to hire a 2nd shift Brake Operator. First Shift - M-F 6 am – 4 pm, half day every other Saturday (7 am–11 am). Second Shift - M-F 3 pm–1 am. Responsibilities The general purpose of the Brake Operator is to produce products using the Brake and Roll. Read blueprints Read and use calipers and other precision measuring equipment Setup tooling on a brake Understand sheet metal bending practices Essential functions Operate each of the brakes Perform tool setups Read blueprints Have a basic understanding of sheet metal bending Have an understanding of brake operation Have an understanding of roll operations Must understand how to operate a shear Required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience Experience forming sheet metal parts on brake press Ability to read aerospace blueprints and specs Skilled in working with tight tolerances Physical and environmental requirements Must be able to lift 50lbs multiple times throughout the day in a manufacturing environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
