Candidates with at least one year of ER experience and a willingness to work in a high-paced environment are encouraged to apply.Assignment Details\n \n Start Date: Not provided\n Shift Details: 12-hour nights, 19:00 - 07:00\n Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend, shifts as needed and agreed upon\n Assignment Length: 1 year\n Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2214 (negotiable)\n Number of Openings: Not provided\n Charting System: MediTech\n Medication System: Pyxis\n Communication System: Vocera\n Responsibilities\n \n Manage general emergency department care for combined adult and pediatric patients\n Interpret and manage dysrhythmias\n Administer blood products\n Care for and manage central lines\n Perform phlebotomy and start IVs\n Administer continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors\n Provide care for CVA, orthopedic trauma, head injuries, and near drownings\n Interpret ABGs and maintain isolation precautions\n Qualifications\n Required:\n \n Minimum 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room\n ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications\n Experience with Pyxis, MediTech, and Vocera systems\n Proficiency in emergency department skills for adult and pediatric patients\n \n Preferred:\n \n Experience with Meditech charting system\n NIHSS and TNCC certifications\n Job Type\n Travel\n \n PEL/VIP Job ID #65342562.
