Microservices / Kubernetes Engineer (Production Support Engineer

Role: Senior Microservices / Kubernetes Engineer (Production Support Engineer)

Location: Richardson, TX (Onsite Interview)

Duration: 6+Months

Qualifications:

5 7 years of experience, primarily in production operations/support.

Strong expertise in Microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Hands-on Kubernetes experience: deployments, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting, and cluster operations.

Experience with API Gateways such as Azure APIM, Kong, or IBM API Connect (APIC).

Strong knowledge of observability tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, Instana, or similar.

Skilled in production troubleshooting, RCA, incident management, and performance optimization.

Understanding of SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, post-mortems, automation, and continuous improvement.

Administrative support experience is highly desirable.
