Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Provides intermediate care for neonates at birth and during the initial transition period.

• Provides leadership for continuous improvement and evidence-based practice

• Provides education to caregiver(s)/family and other health care providers

• Executes the individualized patient/family plan in a caring manner

• Advocates for patient family

• Analyzes the assessment data to determine nurse diagnosis or issues. Develops an individualized plan of care that identifies strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• GA Registered Nurse License Required
• American Heart Association BLS required
• American Hear Association NRP required
• 1+ years of RN experience required
• 2+ years of mother/baby experience preferred
