Full-time opportunity in Anchorage, Alaska at Pet Emergency Treatment (PET)
Schedule: Full-time, 36–40 hours per week; 10-hour shifts, day schedule

We're seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or experienced Veterinary Technician who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and finds fulfillment in compassionate, skilled patient care.

In your day-to-day, you will:
- Provide surgical and nursing care in alignment with doctor's orders
- Prepare patients, surgical suites, and instruments for procedures using aseptic technique
- Assist veterinarians during surgical and specialty procedures
- Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia
- Place IV catheters
- Calculate and administer medications
- Perform in-house lab work and sample analysis
- Support patient comfort and communicate updates with clients
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience, in a surgical or emergency setting
- Credentialed Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) highly preferred, not required
- Experience with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Proficiency in surgical prep, instrument handling and sterilization
- Organized, compassionate, and calm under pressure
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care
