Overview of Responsibilities Grocery Clerks at Sprouts Farmers Market work in several locations of the store, from the Dry Grocery Department, to the Dairy Department, and also the Frozen Department. Grocery Clerks are involved in stocking shelves, filling frozen food bins, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the store. They receive product deliveries, check delivery accuracy, move product to the sales floor using a variety of equipment, and rotate merchandise to ensure the freshest product is available to customers. Thriving in a fast‑paced environment is essential. Team Members under the age of 18 will be restricted from the following tasks: Using a knife (other than safety cutters) Using a ladder Operating a garbage or cardboard compactor Operating any motor/electronically powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks) Working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods of time Qualifications Be at least 16 years of age Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule that includes night, weekends, and holidays Show mutual respect for others and uphold Sprouts’s culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion Possess a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment Be able to perform repetitive activities, multi‑task, prioritize, and stay organized Must be able to vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 60 lb., from 5” to 34”, for a distance up to 5 ft. over 25 hours without mechanical assistance Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations Be able to perform other related duties as assigned Pay Range The pay range for this position is $16.05 – $20.00 per hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications.
