Print Production Operator High Point, NC 27265 Employment Type: Contract to Perm Job Category: Industrial Job Number: 57300525 Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour Job Title: Print Production Operator Job Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Hire Location: High Point 27260 Shift: 1st shift $18hr GPS has a client looking for a strong candidate for a full-time Print Designer / Print Production Operator in their printshop dept, and given their growth in printing services, they need someone who can hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign) for design and file preparation Fix supplied files and impose multi-up layouts for print production Operate digital production equipment including Digital Toner Presses, Digital Ink-Jet Presses, and Digital Cutters Perform light bindery and finishing work Provide customer service via in-person interactions, email, and phone Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Qualifications Understanding with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures (ISO-certified environment) Strong attention to detail and overall sense of quality Comfortable operating light and large-format production machinery Comfortable with basic math Work Environment: Describe the setting and physical demands (if relevant).
