Wire Transfer Specialist

Location: Akron, OH - Will begin onsite for a training period, and will move to a hybrid schedule. The hours for this position are 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play an essential role in processing electronic wire transfers efficiently, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness to support our valued clients and internal teams.
  • Monitor wire task queues and banking websites to facilitate electronic wire transfers, follow standard procedures for wire processing, review wire documentation to confirm compliant verification requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with Old Republic Title's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and complete mandatory compliance training on time.
  • Collaborate effectively with various levels of management, colleagues, and clients via email, phone, video conferences, and in-person meetings to ensure smooth financial transactions.
  • Showcase professionalism, responsiveness, and proactive problem-solving in all interactions, meeting the high standards of service Old Republic Title is known for.
  • Take initiative and respond to constructive feedback, contributing to the team's success while supporting other duties as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook with a solid foundation in basic computer skills and comfortable navigating multiple computer applications to job duties.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in every interaction.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound judgments, and take initiative when solving problems.
  • Active listening skills and an understanding of how non-verbal cues can enhance communication in a customer-focused environment.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Remain adaptable and composed while performing under pressure and managing occasional workday disruptions.
  • Daily keyboard use and interaction with display monitors are required.
