The facility is a hospital-based inpatient setting that maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support interventional cardiology call coverage on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate 24-hour call coverage and utilizes APP staffing to support inpatient rounding and consults. Infrastructure is in place to ensure continuity of inpatient cardiac care delivery throughout each designated coverage period.

The area offers a range of cultural, culinary, and entertainment options suited to varied interests. Attractions include live music venues, professional theater, the South Carolina Aquarium, along with outdoor spaces such as Wannamaker County Park! Harbor tours, a well-established dining scene, local markets, and community events across surrounding neighborhoods provide clinicians with diverse options during time away from clinical responsibilities.

Clinicians will provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a 24-hour call basis, with LOCUMS covering 2/3 of the call schedule beginning ASAP. Clinical responsibilities include performing invasive cardiac procedures and responding to Interventional Cardiology call throughout each assigned coverage period. APPs are available to assist with inpatient rounding and consults. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology, a state license, and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
