Sterile Processing Technician

Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sterile processing License: None specified Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM required; EPIC preferred Must-Have: Travel experience required Must start prior to Thanksgiving No first-time travelers Description: Must have experience in sterile processing of instruments to support a high-volume surgical department. Experience with a high volume of procedures, including Neuro, Ortho, Robotic, Cysto, Women's, Pediatrics, and General. Attention to detail is essential to ensure patient safety and the correct processes for instrument reprocessing. Limited IUSS volume must adhere to JC regulations. Job requires decontamination, preparation, and sterilization per AAMI requirements. No on-call or floating required.
