Apartment (HVAC) Maintenance Technician

Apartment (HVAC) Maintenance TechnicianEssential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is seeking reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Apartment Maintenance Technicians with strong HVAC experience to support multifamily apartment communities. This is a multifamily apartment maintenance role, not an HVAC-only position. The Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC Focus) is responsible for maintaining HVAC systems and performing general apartment maintenance duties, including work orders, unit turns, and make-readies.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in occupied and vacant unitsPrepare units for new residents (make-ready/punch process)Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionallyRepair major appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashersPerform basic electrical and plumbing repairsMaintain community curb appeal and cleanlinessAssist with renovation or property upgrade projects as neededQualifications:EPA Universal Certification (required – no exceptions)Minimum 1 year of hands-on apartment or multifamily maintenance experienceMust own personal tools and HVAC gaugesStrong HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skillsWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and unit make-ready processesAbility to pass a background checkWhy Join ESS?Weekly PayFlexible SchedulingTemp-to-Hire PotentialNo On-Call ShiftsReferral BonusesApply Today to Join Our ESS Team!
