Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours (0700-1930 and 1900-0730) Experience: Minimum 2 years Critical Care and ICU Experience, 1 year of Travel Experience License: State License in Minnesota Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) Must-Have: Med Surg and Telemetry Trained, Ability to insert IVs, Adult Population Experience, Epic Experience Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing compassionate quality care that is customer and family focused. The RN assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents care according to hospital policies and standards of professional nursing practices. The RN is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered. The RN defines, implements, and improves practice standards and the environment of care while promoting exceptional customer care. Duties may vary based on the assigned customer care center which may include differences in the required specific clinical skills. The RN is expected to float to Med Surg regularly. The RN actively and consistently demonstrates the mission, vision, values, and guiding principles of the organization.
