Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN

Travel Med Surg/Tele RN Role & Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, and document care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Explain procedures, prepare patients for diagnostic tests, and support recovery. Maintain safety standards, follow infection control protocols, and advocate for patient needs. Coordinate discharge planning and ensure smooth patient transitions. Manage multiple patients efficiently, prioritize care, and perform other duties within scope. Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience. Valid RN license per state regulations. Current BLS certification; NIHSS and ACLS preferred. Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients, with visual and motor coordination. Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and collaborate effectively.
