Senior IT Administrator

This is a full-time position with UnitedYou Ventures, based at our headquarters. The Senior IT Administrator will be responsible for managing the IT systems and infrastructure for the entire organization. Requirements: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT administration, preferably in the oil and gas engineering or construction industry - Experience in managing IT systems for companies with a minimum of 1000 employees - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Strong knowledge of network and server systems, including Windows and Linux operating systems - Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V - Familiarity with cloud computing and storage solutions - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or ITIL are a plus Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain the company's IT systems and infrastructure, including network, servers, and cloud-based solutions - Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data - Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise - Manage and support end-user devices, including computers, laptops, and mobile devices - Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware - Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices - Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity - Manage IT projects and initiatives, including budgeting, planning, and execution - Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades - Provide technical support and training to employees as needed - Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and laws - Manage and negotiate vendor contracts and relationships - Lead a team of IT professionals and provide guidance and mentorship as needed.
