Senior IT Administrator

This is a full-time position with UnitedYou Ventures, based at our headquarters. The Senior IT Administrator will be responsible for managing the IT systems and infrastructure for the entire organization. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT administration, preferably in the oil and gas engineering or construction industry Experience in managing IT systems for companies with a minimum of 1000 employees Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Strong knowledge of network and server systems, including Windows and Linux operating systems Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper‑V Familiarity with cloud computing and storage solutions Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or ITIL are a plus Responsibilities Manage and maintain the company's IT systems and infrastructure, including network, servers, and cloud‑based solutions Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup plans Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise Manage and support end‑user devices, including computers, laptops, and mobile devices Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity Manage IT projects and initiatives, including budgeting, planning, and execution Stay up‑to‑date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades Provide technical support and training to employees as needed Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and laws Manage and negotiate vendor contracts and relationships Lead a team of IT professionals and provide guidance and mentorship as needed We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Administrator to join our dynamic team at UnitedYou Ventures.
