Details Work in the Trauma ICU of a Level II Trauma Center, Magnet-designated teaching hospital Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:00) Weekend shifts required No on-call responsibilities Floating required within scope to any ICU/TELE units based on facility need Uses Cerner charting system Requirements Active CA RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (TNCC preferred) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Experience caring for ventilated patients and managing respiratory/thoracic cases required Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration/monitoring required Experience with neurological care and ICP monitoring required Level I and II Trauma experience preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to trauma ICU patients, including ventilator management and sedation monitoring Strict dress code: no facial hair, acrylic nails, unnatural hair colors, visible piercings other than small earlobe earrings, and all tattoos must be covered No specific scrub color required, but camouflage or character patterns are not permitted First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted Previous facility staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler Up to 2 days of RTO and 1 approved holiday off during the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-762632.
