Job Title: Graphic Designer Duration: 3 Months + (Possible Extension) Pay Rate: $40.00/hr on W2 (Without Benefits) Location: Clearwater, FL (Hybrid) Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours per week) Job Overview We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer with at least 5 years of professional experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a modern design aesthetic, a strong understanding of visual communication, and the ability to create high-quality designs across a variety of print and digital platforms. This role requires a creative professional who can independently manage projects from concept through final delivery, translate creative briefs into compelling visual assets, and maintain consistency across brand communications. Candidates with experience in beauty, haircare, retail, or e-commerce environments are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Graphic Design and Creative Development Conceptualize, develop, and execute graphic design projects across print and digital channels. Create marketing collateral, including brochures, advertisements, direct mail, website banners, social media graphics, and email designs. Develop packaging graphics, retail point-of-sale (POS) materials, in-store signage, and brand identity elements. Apply a contemporary design aesthetic to produce engaging, visually appealing, and effective creative assets. Translate creative briefs and business objectives into polished visual designs while maintaining brand consistency. Perform photo manipulation, image retouching, custom illustration, and complex layout design as required. Brand Consistency and Visual Standards Ensure all creative assets align with established brand guidelines, visual identity, and messaging. Maintain consistency across digital, print, retail, and marketing channels. Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to understand campaign objectives and develop effective visual solutions. Contribute creative ideas that strengthen brand communication and improve the overall visual experience. Software Proficiency and Technical Expertise Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Utilize Figma proficiently for digital asset creation, design collaboration, and creative development. Apply advanced image-editing, vector-design, typography, and layout techniques. Prepare production-ready files for print and optimize digital assets for their intended platforms. Experience with multimedia design, motion graphics, animation, or AI-assisted creative tools is a plus. Project Management and Collaboration Independently manage multiple design projects, priorities, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure all projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and according to specifications. Communicate project progress, challenges, and potential solutions to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with marketing, digital, product, and other internal teams to execute creative projects. Coordinate with external vendors and print production partners to ensure quality and accuracy. Design Trends and Continuous Improvement Stay current with graphic design trends, tools, technologies, and industry best practices. Apply knowledge of contemporary design aesthetics and evolving consumer preferences. Identify opportunities to improve creative workflows, visual communications, and design quality. Continuously develop design skills and contribute innovative ideas to creative projects. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience in an agency, in-house creative department, or similar fast-paced environment. Strong portfolio demonstrating a modern design aesthetic, excellent typography, and high-quality execution across print and digital media. Advanced hands-on proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Proficiency in Figma for digital asset creation and collaborative design workflows. Strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy. Knowledge of print production processes, digital design best practices, and cross-channel creative requirements. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions and collaborate with stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to creative excellence. Experience in the beauty, haircare, retail, or e-commerce industries is highly preferred.
