Next Level has developed an innovative, community-driven platform for building customer-owned 10-gigabit fiber networks. Our solution allows homeowners, neighborhoods, property managers, and developers to improve broadband quality, increase property values, and reduce costs through crowdfunding and demand aggregation. The high-speed, future-proof fiber network offers symmetrical speeds up to 10,000 Mbps, supporting advanced applications like streaming, video conferencing, and gaming. The open-access design enables multiple ISPs to operate on the network, prioritizing user privacy and network neutrality over data selling or advertising.

As the General Managerof Next Level Connect, a growing fiberoptics startup, you will be the primaryengine driving our operational and commercial success. This is ahigh-stakes, player-coach role at the intersection of complexinfrastructure engineering and aggressive market expansion.

Inthis environment, you will build systems, culture, andpartnerships from the ground up. You will own the full businesslifecycle—from technical design oversight and project managementof fiber builds to high-level sales and client retention. We arelooking for a leader with the technical depth of an engineer,the grit of a founder, and the strategic mindset of a seasonedleader .

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute theoperational roadmap to ensure fiber deployments align withfinancial goals and market demand.
• Sales & Business Development: Lead the acquisitionof Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients, negotiate complex servicecontracts, and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• End-to-End Project Management: Oversee planning,permitting, and construction for FTTX projects to ensure theyare delivered on time and within budget.
• Technical Oversight: Bridge the gap between engineeringand stakeholders to ensure network designs are technically soundand commercially viable.
• Client Management: Serve as the primary escalation pointfor key accounts and identify upsell opportunities.
• Operational Excellence : Refine internal processes forsupply chain, subcontractor oversight, and field operations toscale efficiently.

Requirements

• - Industry Experience: 10+ years of telecom industry-related experience
• - Fiber Optics: Deep understanding ofthe telecommunications landscape, including OSP and ISP environments.
• EngineeringFundamentals: Knowledge of networkarchitecture, splicing standards, link budgets, and GIS mapping.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity withright-of-way (ROW) access, pole attachment agreements, and permitting processes.
• Proven Sales Record: Success in B2Btechnical sales or business development within thetelecommunications or infrastructure sectors.
• Project Management: Experience managingcapital projects
